Modifying via the iClone Modify Panel
After using the auto-convert method, you may need to modify the material of a 3D
object. One way to do this is to modify the materials of the target
objects in iClone and then convert again. However, please keep in mind that
if the objects already contain material animations, this method may
destroy them.
-
Prepare a project in iClone.
-
Click the Render Scene button on the
iClone Indigo Plug-in toolbar for previewing.
Check out the scene to focus on the material that you want to modify.
Note:
|
-
For previewing, please export the frame at a
smaller resolution to ensure fast render results. Please
note that you are not changing the original resolution
of the project but only the dimension of the
Indigo scene (*.igs)
that is created from this project for rendering.
|
-
Go back to iClone and adjust the material(s) parameters
in the Modify panel. In this case, the Diffuse Color, for
example, of the sculpture is changed to red.
-
Click the Render Scene button on the toolbar again for rendering.
The materials rendered in Indigo will be kept as similar as possible to the ones you see in iClone.
